Hi, Webformed are aware of the issue you talk about with multiple logins and longer logins.  We believe that our software caters for varying circumstances when providing care.  In the first instance, we plan to attack your first issue on the (currently android) mobile carer app where the carer is warned of things that may not be right with their check-in(visit is checking out too late, you are currently checked in to another visit, all can be found here, and here .  This then puts the onus on the carer, in the sense that whenever this happens, they will be warned about it, and they make the decision not to check out on the other visit.  In addition to this, we are currently about (in the next 2 weeks) about to start a piece of work that will cap the amount that a carer is paid on the visit if it goes over the planned time.
In addition to this, you can also view the Start Reports=>Check in Check out Positions within CareForIT, this wil show you a list, by the carer of occurrences where checkin was over/under delivered(this can also be exported to Excel, should you wish to do further analysis).

I hope this work will alleviate your stress with the product, please call the office if you want me to go through any further questions with you.

Thanks.

Stephen

Hi Tony, you might be interested in the updates I've listed in this item.

Thanks

Hi, there will be quite a few safe guarding in the next release of the Mobile Carer app.

We have added the ability to only checkin for todays visits.

We have added some time sensitivity(as you describe) to only WARN users if they are checking in too late or checking out to early.  However, this time, this has only been implemented as a company wide setting this time.

Your request to LOCK checkin based on distance, will not be implemented, we will however implement a warning, when a carer is x distance away.  The reason for this, is the results from GPS can be inaccurate and we would never want to limit that carer to do their job, we would always record the GPS coordinates of the checkin and out, so you are able to see what the phones GPS has recorded.

I hope that helps.

Thanks.

Stephen

Hi, can I just understand the reason why you want to do this?  How, and where are the Carers making mistake(Mobile app?)

Thanks

This was completed in the last release.

thanks.

Hi Kerry, I think this is a good idea, I understand that you have to manage quite a few documents against different folder categories.  What kind of folder structure would you suggest?

I personally, wouldn't want a date, but I think categorising each document item like CarePlan docs, Med docs, assessment docs etc would be more beneficial.

Thanks.

Stephen

Hi, there is work taking place to bring these two things inline with each other.  We are going to use a configuration setting that can be changed per care agency.

Please look out for this functionality in the latest Android release.

Thanks.

Stephen.
