Visit Alerts as SMS instead of Email

Hi,

Would it not be easier to have alerts come through as an SMS, our alerts currently go to an umbrella email which then forwards to all employees rather than just the appointed member of staff responsible for alerts. Wouldn't this also increase response times for alert chasing as they would already have the on call phone with them.

Supervision

Altogether Care 7 years ago updated by Stephen Vaughan 7 years ago 1

Would love to be able to add a supervision form to the staff profile so that supervisions can be recorded electronically and stored on the system.

Hi, this is currently possible.  You will need to create a new "Training" category called "Supervision"(here: https://support.care-for-it.com/articles/setting-up-careforit/how-do-i-add-new-training-skills-qualifications )

Then you can upload the supervisions onto the staff records (here: https://support.care-for-it.com/articles/setting-up-careforit/adding-qualifications-training-to-staff-records ).

I hope that helps.  Any probelms, contact support.

Risk Assessments

Obi 7 years ago in Pure CareForIT / Care Plans 0

Hello,

Some coordinators/Assessors prefer to print off a paper risk assessment before the go and visit a service user. Sometimes they pre fill some parts of the risk assessment in the office before they go out

When you try and print the current risk assessments the space is really not enough to enable them to write their notes.

Assessors have tried to enter data onto the risk assessments in order to widen the space (e.g. enter lines of data vertically so that it widens the space). However, when they go to save the risk assessment it converts all of the data they have entered from a vertical format to a horizontal format and flattens the field again.

Can we change this so that the data in the fields is not moved from a vertical format to a horizontal format......please contact me if this makes no sense

Forms Attached to Shift Types

Obi 7 years ago in Mobile Carer App - CareForIT updated by Stephen Vaughan 7 years ago 1

We have some basic forms attached to shift types (so, for personal care we have a form where the carer can tick a number of standard activities). Can this form somehow become automatically available on the app version so that carers can use it to tick off what tasks they have completed.

Number of hours/Journey Time on the Wall

Obi 7 years ago in Pure CareForIT / The Wall 0

You have changed the list view of the rota so that the coordinator can see the number of hours, journey time etc when they are trying to assign a support worker

We would like a similar sort of thing on the staff wall. One of our guys suggested that we have it next to the name. The hours displayed will relate to the full week that the Coordinator is looking at. So, in the example below, the hours displayed will be for the week beginning 2nd of October to 8th of october (just like it is on the list view above)

Forms on the App

Obi 7 years ago in Mobile Carer App - CareForIT updated by Stephen Vaughan 7 years ago 1

On the app, a support worker can select a service user and press the + sign to bring up forms.

However, the kind of forms that we have there include risk assessments and quality monitoring checks.

Some forms are useful for field care supervisiors and not for other support workers.

Is it possible to limit access to forms based, for example, on the kind of access a user has. So, if they have just the "user access" then they gain access to basic suite of forms. If they have supervisory then they get another suite of forms. If they have Administrator then they get the whole lot.

The devil makes work for idle fingers and we don't want our system flooded with useless forms

Can forms include icons

Howell Hughes 7 years ago in Pure CareForIT 0

Can there be a form created that says how do you feel today and a smiley face and as sad face as the tick boxes.

Would make it more user friendly especially for children's services.

I.e.

How do you feel today?
