If there is a rate change in the system then there should be a cut off date this is applied from and should not affect any previous calls prior to that date

Rate changes should only affect future dated call and not anything prior to this

If you are talking about CareForIT, we have some development in the pipeline which will be release within the next month or so that satisfies your requirement.

Attachments on e-mails

Pictures and Attachments to e-mails sent directly into careforit do not show up in the note. We have to ask the service user (or staff member) to send the e-mail to an alternative e-mail addess. What happens to these attachments? Presumably they are stored somewhere in the system. They should still show up on the notes

When sending e-mails through the system you should not be restricted to just the e-mails recorded on the service users contact list. You should be able to manually enter the address that you want the e-mail to go to and just send it. That way, all communications regarding a service user can be in the Service User's notes.

View SMS received in date order rather than / as well as by staff member

Would it be possible to view SMS messages received in different formats?


Currently, unless you see the SMS on your screen you would have to go into each individual staff member to view the SMS again.

Would it be possible to put a date range in; just like the List View, and get all the SMS received in that time frame.

Hi Tony, Great News!  We have created a standard report for you that will give you the ability to select a start and end date showing all the SMS's for that period.  As with startard reports you can then export this data to CSV and filter even further.

Ability to add a Global Note for all staff

Gary Hayes from One Care DCS would like the ability of a drop down list of other carers when adding a personal or private note, to record what has been discussed with all carer`s, so not having to enter the same note several times against each carer.  Gary does not want to use an e-mail, due it being a private note that carers are not able to view.

Workflow request against Service User and staff Notes

Ability to record more than one staff member against a note, for example when raising a complaint, the carer who raised it, the person to action it, the Manager who is going to sign it off.  Also to allow a review date and end date for each note, like an event.  2 customer`s have requested this.

Accrued annual leave

Good afternoon,

Is there any possibility in the future that the annual leave can be accumulated by the system? We pay entitled annual leave accrued hourly but have to work out average hours accumulated. On the current system, there is set entitled leave in days but staff must be paid holiday pay based on their hours worked by law and this is really difficult due to fluctuating hours. It all has to be worked out individually. By law staff are entitled to 7.25 minutes annual leave for every hour they work and I assume all other employers are working on this basis as it is law. If we underpay them (I haven't but it could be very easily done), we would get fined £5000. We are no longer allowed to pay a percentage of average hours worked, it has be hours accumulated.

Is there any scope for the system to bank 7.25 minutes per hour in an annual leave box to help us monitor the staff's entitlement?  I am happy to discuss this with Steven if I haven't explained this properly.

Hi Kelly, we have just completed some development for Holiday Pay.  

This will include the ability to calculate holiday pay, to have holiday pay scheme(accural, fixed days), holiday accural, pay/not pay holidays.

Would you be interested in being added on to the beta code again?

eMails failing to send

When we send schedules out to our team, on occasion the system fails to successfully send the email (could be for a load of reasons). Currently this failure is shown in the 'System Events' window, however this window is also populated with loads of other notifications, most of which are not really system failures. When Care-For-IT has a genuine system failure, can we have an email sent to selected email address(es) to notify of the system failure please?
