Improving search facility in clients and carers
When in either Clients or Staff/Carers etc when searching for/accessing record
a. it would be useful to be able to find record unilaterally whether it was active, suspended or archived
or
b.when searching for client under say H, if not there in Active when you click on Suspended or Archived it would still be on the H section instead of reverting to All Clients
Client Data Extract
It would be useful if an additional one or more items were included in the Client Data Extract – such as Care Manager
or in the Staff Data Extract – such as regions could be selected either as now individually or together as a group.
or
A custom report building option able to access the relevant items from the care plan, more for analysis/ up to date info reporting rather than overall data reports – Client Data Extract which has a use in its own right.
Delete staff and Carer records
The option to delete a Carers/Staff record, especially if there is a duplicate record or if they subsequently are not employed by us.
Exclude carers from working with other carers
Is it possible to have the ability to exclude carers from working with other carers?
Emergency Services access to client notes
Can we have the facility to allow Ambulance Crews to have 20-30 mins access to Client's Notes. Known as "EMERGENCY GRAB".
Time Critical Call
Could we have the option to make certain medication calls Time Specific/Critical so that the time of the call cannot be altered. Often medication has to be taken at specific times, such as Parkinsons Meds. Maybe a different colour to the call to show it IS time specific.
Self Funder option per area.
Would like to have the ability to set Private Funder as a SELF FUNDER per area we work in. For Instance, self funded - Hull, self funded East Riding. I understand that self funder is hard coded into CareFor and hope that you will look into this possibility for us.
Finance tab does not allow 'self funded' invoices to be generated on their own.
Finance Tab >> Accounts >> Advanced Settings
There are only 2 options: Self Funded + All Funders and All Funders.
A third option of Self Funded Only would save a lot of time.
If you choose the 'Self Funded + All Funders' option, you can then highlight just the first entry, which should be Self Funded.
This will then run accounts for only self funded clients.
New Support Workers automatically list as non-preferred against all Service Users
We use the preferred/non-preferred lists of support workers for each of our service users to aid in scheduling. When new support workers are added to the system, they are automatically made available for all service users, which can cause a headache when trying to schedule and is labour intensive having to go into each service user file and remove them from all which they are not suitable for. It would be greatly appreciated if they would automatically be placed into the non-preferred list so we only need to add them to the service users required.
If not possible to do this by default, if there could be a setting to select this when adding new support workers, or even a way of adding them into the lists from the support worker files (so the similar functionality as currently, but selecting the service users rather than support workers)
